How We Manage the Collection, Use and Disclosure of Your Personal Data
Obtaining Consent
Before we collect, use or disclose your personal data, we will notify you of the purpose. We next obtain a confirmation from you on your expressed consent. As far as possible, we will not collect more personal data than necessary for the stated purposes within this notice. Under certain circumstances, we may assume deemed consent from you when you voluntarily provide your personal data for the stated purpose, e.g. when you apply for a job with us.
Third-Party Consent
If you have a one-on-one meeting with us on behalf of another individual, you must first obtain consent from that individual in order for us to collect, use or disclose their personal data. Where consent can be obtained, that individual must be notified of the purposes for the collection, use or disclosure of their personal data.
Withdrawal of Consent
If you wish to withdraw consent, you should give us reasonable advance notice. Please be aware that as a consequence of the withdrawal of your consent, we may not be able to continue to provide you with our services and thus terminate any contractual arrangements we may have with you. We shall, in such circumstances, notify you of the consequence before proceeding with your request. Please send an email to our Data Protection Officer to notify us for withdrawal of consent. How You Can Access and Make Correction to Your Personal Data
You may write to us to find out what personal data about you we have in our possession or under our control and how it may have been used and/or disclosed by us within the past one year. You may also ask us to correct it if there is any error or omission. Before we accede to your request, we may need to verify your identity.
We will endeavor to fulfill your request within 30 days, with an estimate of the fee for processing the request (if applicable). If we are not able to do so within 30 days, we will notify you of the additional time required.
How We Ensure the Accuracy of Your Personal Data
We will take reasonable precautions and verification checks to ensure that the personal data we have collected from you is reasonably accurate, complete and up-to-date.
How We Protect Your Personal Data
We will take the necessary security arrangements to protect your personal data that is in our possession to prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or similar risks. We will take reasonable and appropriate measures to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of your personal data, and will only share your data with authorized persons on a ‘need to know’ basis.
External Data Intermediaries who process and maintain your personal data on our behalf will be bound by contractual information security arrangements we have with them.
How We Retain Your Personal Data
We will not retain any of your personal data under our charge when it is no longer necessary for any business or legal purposes. Based on our Document Retention Policy, we will ensure that your personal data that are no longer needed by us will be destroyed or disposed of in a secure manner.
How We Transfer Your Personal Data
If there is a need for us to transfer your personal data to another organization outside of Singapore, we will ensure that the standard of data protection in the recipient country is comparable to that of Singapore’s PDPA. If this is not so, we will enter into a contractual agreement with the receiving party to accord similar levels of data protection as that in Singapore.
About the Tags We Use
Tags are segments of code that are inserted onto our website to track user behavior. They may consist of technologies such as web beacons or tracking pixels. Tags can be grouped into two large categories:
Statistical Tags
Advertising Tags
We only employ tags of a statistical nature and do not use any marketing tags within our website. Some of the tags we use set cookies which may collect data from our users in order to compile our statistics. For such tags, please refer to the Manage Cookies section of this document on how to manage them. We also employ some tags that use images or other similar mechanisms to track certain browser behavior. You will not be unable to opt out of these, unless you blacklist all requests from Google.
About Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is used on our website to manage these tags. Other than data in standard HTTP request logs, all statistics collected at Google is deleted within 14 days of being received.
Our Usage of Google Tag Manager
We do not use any 3rd party tags that are not provided by Google. We do not upload any data to Google Tag Manager that might be used to personally identify an individual (e.g. a name and email address). Information collected is anonymized and collected purely for statistical purpose. We only keep statistical reports, and do not make any backups of the raw data that Google Tag Manager collects on our behalf.
Manage Cookies
What is a Cookie. A “cookie” is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.
Cookies set by Tesla Consulting are called “first-party cookies”. Cookies set by parties other than Tesla Consulting are called “third-party cookies.” Third-party cookies frequently enable certain third-party features or functionality to be provided on or through websites or services such as advertising, analytics, and interactive content.
Cookies set by third-parties. We sometimes embed photos and video content that originated from websites such as YouTube®, Facebook® and Instagram®. As a result, when you visit a page on a Tesla Consulting websites and applications that features content from third-parties, you may be presented with cookies from these websites. How to Control and Delete cookies
